Cancellation and Return Policy - Indian School Talent Search Exam (ISTSE)
At ISTSE (International Science Talent Search Examination), we aim to ensure a fair and transparent process for all participants of our Olympiad exams, conducted both online and offline for students from Classes 1 to 10.
Please read our Cancellation and Return Policy carefully before registering.
Cancellation Policy:
- Registration, once completed, cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
- No refund will be issued after successful registration.
- Students may request a change to their registered class up to 7 days before the scheduled exam date. No changes will be accepted beyond this deadline.
Registration Cancellation and Fee Forfeiture by ISTSE
ISTSE reserves the right to cancel a student's registration and forfeit the paid fees under the following conditions:
- Incorrect Class Registration:
If a student registers for a class other than their actual studying class and fails to correct it within 7 days before the exam, their registration will be cancelled.
Appearing for the exam in the wrong class will make the student ineligible for certificates, medals, shields, or scholarships.
- Failure to Provide Valid Documents:
If the student cannot provide valid identity and class verification documents when requested.
- Refusal to Participate in Required Interviews:
Top 10 marks holders must participate in a video interview. Refusal will result in disqualification.
- Unreachable for Verification:
If ISTSE is unable to reach the student after repeated attempts for document verification or viva process.
- Submission of False Information:
Providing any misleading, false, or incorrect information at any stage.
- Cheating or Malpractice:
If a student is found cheating, using unfair means, or behaving inappropriately during the exam.
- Misbehavior or Disruption:
Any misbehavior by the student or parent/guardian toward ISTSE staff or disruption during the exam process.
- Spreading False Information:
Involvement in spreading misinformation or harming ISTSE’s reputation in any form.
